Is Frontier Van Lines licensed, insured and bonded?
Yes, Frontier Van Lines is fully licensed, insured and bonded.
How far in advance should I book a move with Frontier Van Lines?
We encourage our clients to book a minimum of 3 weeks in advance; however, we know that isn’t always possible. We do everything we can to accommodate your move date requirements.
Do you provide free moving quotes?
Yes! Please call our office and a Relocation Consultant will be happy to help you.
Do you have a storage facility where I can keep my belongings until I am ready to move into my new home?
Absolutely! We can bring your belongings to our storage facility where they will safely stay for as long as it takes. Once you have a move in date, simply call our office and we will schedule your delivery for more information on our storage solutions click here.
Can I pack my items myself?
Yes, but why take all those evenings and weekends when we can do it in one day or less? For more information on our packing services, please click here.
What do you recommend I use to pack my belongings in for my move?
We recommend professional grade cardboard boxes or plastic bins. All boxes and bins must be taped shut. Most moves include larger, fragile items such as china cabinets with glass doors, mirrors, artwork, etc. Frontier Van Lines can assist you with packing those items you are not comfortable packing on your own.
Can I leave my clothes in the drawers?
Please call your Relocation Consultant regarding this question as it varies for interstate and local moves.
What do I need to disassemble before the movers arrive?
Cribs, pool tables, baby grand pianos, grand pianos, swing sets , tree houses and large gym equipment must be disassembled prior to pick up. Chandeliers must be professionally packed and crated. Water beds are to be drained and sleep number beds are to be deflated. If you are unsure how to disassemble these items, call your Relocation Consultant for more information.
What items am I not permitted to ship?
Items that are flammable such as propane, paint, turpentine, alcohol and gasoline. Other items we cannot ship are perishable food, drugs, pets, live plants, weapons, ammunition, large safes and hot tubs.
Do you transport motorcycles?
Yes! The battery should be disconnected and all fluids drained prior to shipment.
Do you transport automobiles?
Moving a car in a moving truck is not safe for your furniture nor for your car.

Do you provide insurance coverage?
Included in your moving quote, FVL provides you with the basic valuation of 60 cents per pound at no charge – which is the industry standard. Please understand that VALUATION IS NOT FULL REPLACEMENT VALUE INSURANCE. Please see our 5 Golden Rules. For full replacement insurance please check with your home owners insurance or visit www.bakerintl.com.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept money orders, certified checks and cash. We do not accept personal checks nor do we accept credit cards. (For interstate moves, the final balance payment due at delivery is payable by only by Postal Money Orders and/or Cash.)
Once I choose my date, what is the next step to securing your services?
In order to secure your chosen date, Frontier Van Lines does require receipt of your deposit within 5 business days of the date you schedule your move. The forms of payment we accept for the deposit are money orders, certified checks and cash. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of your move.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your move for any reason, you will need to provide Frontier Van Lines with written notice a minimum of 5 business days prior to your scheduled move date in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Any cancellations with less than 5 business day written notice will forfeit their deposit.
